Founder

Lindsay Broadbent

I live in the mountains with my husband and our five children—where life is full, creative, and often joyfully chaotic. Scarlett Design was born in 2010, alongside the birth of my first daughter, Scarlett. Her name felt strong, beautiful, and full of grace—the very qualities I hoped to bring into the spaces I designed. Years later, her sister Rosie arrived, inspiring our signature wild rose motif: a symbol of natural beauty, quiet resilience, and layered strength.

I’m passionate about travel and the way design can bridge cultures, connect people, and bring distant worlds into everyday life. That belief guides not only my work, but also my purpose. A portion of every project goes toward supporting underprivileged women—helping them rise above poverty and empowering them to build a future of strength, dignity, and success.

At the heart of it all, my goal is simple: to create interiors of depth and grace that reflect the stories, values, and beauty of the people who inhabit them.

Mckinzie Hancock

With more than a decade of experience in residential and commercial design, McKinzie is dedicated to crafting spaces that are both timeless and inviting. She believes great design should tell a story—one that feels effortless, enduring, and uniquely tailored to each client.

When she’s not designing, she can be found outdoors with her husband and their four daughters—whether hiking, exploring, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature that inspires much of her creativity.
